Nasturtiums Painting and Pattern

Nasturtiums Painting and Pattern was inspired by a photo that I took in San Deigo, CA. The flowers there are robust and beautiful. I use a watercolor medium for my paintings and if I don’t have a color that I think would work I mix my own using the  SavArt app and red blue, yellow, and white which is water.

I love artistic realism and find it very challenging but very rewarding when I can accomplish it.

I turn my small signal floral paintings into repeat patterns for fabric and other products. This repeat pattern is available at my Spoonflower Shop. Click Here to visit the shop.

Painting roses with watercolor without a pencil dr Painting roses with watercolor without a pencil drawing. Turning this painting into a pattern with two different backgrounds. It's autumn where I live maybe that is why these colors showed up.
