These cards are multi media works of art handmade and created with love. Watercolor background, woman’s face is an ink drawing and the roses are a photograph.
The background is a watercolor wash of mixing colors and adding splashes here and there. Drawings of women’s faces layered under the background watercolor then layered again with photo images taken of a variety of items.
Creating this series was a great joy of using different skills, some analog such as painting, drawing, photography and some digital such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
I call them, (from left to right) ‘Amira’s Rose’,’Tropical Dreams’ and ‘Lady Rose’.
