Spring Pattern Cottagecore Style is a true reminder of springtime, a favorite time of year for most everyone. The beginning of new life as we watch the sprouting of new green leaves and grass, the many colors of flowers glistening with droplets rain on some days. The air is clean and fresh and when the sun is shining the sky is a brilliant blue.
My new spring pattern ‘Cottagecore’ style design reminds me of spring. Cottagecore has become very popular now and is helping to bring back nostalgia and a romanticized aesthetic that is reminiscent of life in the countryside surrounded by nature, animals, pattern, color.
This Spring Pattern Cottagecore Style design began as a Textile Design Lab daily challenge. Using illustrator I drew flowers from these photos of flowers in my garden.
The finished product turned out to shout spring to me and much to my surprise and delight the pattern was perfect to add some color to my window seat in my dinning room. The fabric can be purchased at my Spoonflower shop.
Much to my surprise and delight this floral pattern when made into pillow gave my window seat a brighter look. The success of this pattern has taught me the importance of planning ahead for the end product.
